A free consultation may sound good, but for a therapy session it limits you to getting to know your therapist and seeing if they are a good fit to your needs on a more deeper and personal level. Usually a free consultation is a 5-15 minute phone call. If you get a free consultation, you can't dive deep into certain topics because its a free consultation and not a real therapy session.
